Lithium specific, some say it’s Class B, some Class D, some say neither, actually it is Li for Lithium batteries.
The Lithium-ion Battery Specific Range of Fire Extinguishers contain (AVD), Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion, a new revolutionary fire extinguishing agent, designed to stop Li-ion battery fires fast.
AVD is, in few words, Vermiculite particles suspended in water, discharged in a fine mist which provides both cooling effects and a form of heat-proof barrier around the burning battery cell to prevent propagation, spread and re-ignition.
Vermiculite has very strong thermal insulation properties and creates a heatproof cell, which helps prevent heat transfer from the burning battery to other components. With fast action taken with a Lithium fire extinguisher, you can contain the chemical reaction inside the now heatproof cell, so that external flames can be dealt with by the cooling effect of the water.
A Lithium-ion battery fire is not a Class D fire risk

All parts are shipped in suitable packaging and packed so the item arrives safely.
ECO We are transitioning to use paper based like paper tape instead cellotape, stretchy paper weave instead of bubble wrap, where possible and use mainly large thick cardboard for panels or paper outer bubble bags for small items. Sometimes bubble wrap is needed.. We strive to use less plastic and constantly review and trial new methods.
We support and comply with country specific requirments such as the German Packaging Act VerpackG when placing packaging materials onto the market and the California P65 warnings are present on current production parts known to contain lead such as crystal displays.
Recycle We recycle the bulk of our own waste from oil to cardbaord to approved recyclers only and encourage you to reuse or dispose of old parts and packaging only in accordance with local regulations.
Exc parts on exchange where you must return the old part to us as stated, these parts are then recycled or even refurbished by the manufacturer.
